This position is a parental leave position initially for 12 months.

The Early Childhood Teacher will be the room leader in our preschool room where 20 children between the ages of 3 & 5 are in attendance. Supporting you will be a trained diploma staff member who has experience and has been with JCS for some length of time.

The service overall is a small 36 place service. JCS is a long standing charity in the Georges River Area operating multiple programs as well as our Long day Care service and two other OOSH Services.

Service staff work an 8 hour shift over a 9 day fortnight - staff work 72 hours per fortnight.

The centre is open from 7.30 until 6.00 pm.

Your uniform will be supplied.

As room leader you will also be responsible as the Educational Leader of the service.

We undertake WWCC checks and National Criminal History Checks of all our staff and volunteers.

Pay: $39.83 – $43.54 per hour
