Qualified & Experienced Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technicians/Installers Wanted For Residential & Commercial

BWS Electrical is seeking qualified and experienced Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technicians, Dual Trade or Air Conditioning Installers to join our team.

We have opportunities available for skilled tradespeople across residential and commercial air conditioning and refrigeration projects.

Whether your strengths are air conditioning installations, service and maintenance, or commercial refrigeration, we would love to hear from you.

About the Roles

Depending on your experience and skill set, responsibilities may include:

Air Conditioning Installation

- Installation of split, multi-split, ducted and light commercial air conditioning systems.
- Replacement and upgrade of existing systems.
- Refrigeration pipework, pressure testing, evacuation and commissioning.
- Electrical connections and commissioning associated with air conditioning installations.
- Installation of ductwork, grilles, zoning systems and controls.
- Reading plans and completing installations to a high standard.
- Working independently and as part of an installation team.

Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Service

- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
- Planned preventative maintenance and servicing.
- Installation and commissioning of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Commercial refrigeration breakdowns and repairs.
- Working on cool rooms, freezer rooms and commercial refrigeration equipment.
- Supporting commercial and industrial upgrade and replacement projects.
- Providing professional customer service and technical advice on site.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for reliable, motivated tradespeople who take pride in their workmanship and have a genuine commitment to quality and safety.

Applicants must have:

- Trade Qualification in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration.




- Demonstrated experience in air conditioning installation and/or refrigeration and air conditioning service work.
- ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence or relevant Restricted Refrigerant Handling Licence, where applicable.
- Queensland Electrical Licence or Restricted Electrical Licence relevant to the position.
- Current manual driver's licence.
- Construction White Card.
- Strong workmanship and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and a professional work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to safe work practices.
