About the Role

As a Laundry Services Assistant, you’ll play an important role in ensuring a clean, comfortable, and well-presented environment for our residents. Working in a residential aged care setting, you’ll be responsible for laundering resident clothing, bedding, and facility linen, while maintaining high standards of hygiene and infection control.

We are seeking casual employees who are available to work across a rotating roster and can demonstrate flexibility to accommodate a range of shifts

You’ll be joining a supportive team workplace where everyone works together, and your contribution is genuinely appreciated.

No two days are the same! As Laundry Services Assistant you will:

- Ensure all resident personal clothing and laundry items are correctly labelled and managed.
- Safely handle, transport, and launder soiled linen and clothing in line with infection control policies and procedures.
- Use and store laundry chemicals safely,



ensuring correct agents and quantities are applied for each task.
- Maintain appropriate storage, rotation, and distribution of clean linen.
- Inspect linen for quality and replacement needs, participate in infection control practices, and carry out additional duties within scope as directed.
