About the Role

As a Cleaning Services Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. Working in a residential aged care setting, you’ll be responsible for cleaning resident rooms, shared living areas, and facilities while consistently meeting high standards of hygiene and infection control.

This is a casual position. We’re seeking a reliable and dependable team member who is flexible to work a rotating roster. You’ll take pride in your work and understand the importance of creating a comfortable, home-like environment for our residents.

No two days are the same! As Cleaning Services Assistant, you will:

- Clean and sanitise resident rooms, bathrooms, and shared living areas in line with infection control standards
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including lounges, dining rooms, corridors, and staff areas
- Safely handle, use,



and store cleaning chemicals and equipment according to workplace procedures
- Dispose of waste and manage linen in accordance with hygiene and safety guidelines
- Follow cleaning schedules and workplace procedures to ensure consistent, high-quality standards
