About the role

We are seeking a Factory Hand to join our team at our facility in Kunda Park, QLD. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our manufacturing operations. As a Factory Hand, you will be an integral part of our assembly and process work team, contributing directly to the production of high-quality lift systems. Your work will be hands-on and dynamic, requiring attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining safe working practices across our production facility.

What you'll be doing

- Assisting with the assembly and construction of lift components and systems according to specifications and technical drawings

- Operating machinery and equipment safely, following established procedures and manufacturer guidelines

- Preparing and organising materials, components and work areas for production activities

- Performing quality checks on assembled products to ensure they meet required standards

- Packaging finished products for storage or dispatch

- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, following health and safety protocols

- Supporting more senior team members and contributing to team objectives

- Reporting any equipment issues, defects or safety concerns to supervisors promptly

What we're looking for





- Prior experience in steel manufacturing, assembly or production environment is highly desirable

- Physical capability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality in all work undertaken

- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately

- Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach to working within a team

- Reliability and punctuality, with a genuine commitment to safety in the workplace

- Willingness to learn new skills and operate various machinery and tools used in manufacturing

- A current driver's licence is advantageous

- Relevant qualifications or certifications in health and safety, forklift operation or machinery operation would strengthen your application
