Data Analyst - Flexible working - 6 months contract - Creative Business Intelligence Team

This organisation is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join its Business Intelligence and Innovation team on an initial 6-month contract. Following a period of change within the team, this role will play a key part in supporting reporting, analytics, and data-driven decision-making across the business.

Working alongside established data analytics and data engineering professionals, you will have the opportunity to make an immediate impact while contributing to ongoing innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Your new role

As a hands-on Data Analyst, you will be responsible for:

- Developing and enhancing Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualisations
- Integrating data from multiple internal and external sources
- Performing data transformation, cleansing, mapping, and validation activities
- Creating consistent reporting structures across disparate datasets
- Identifying opportunities to improve data processes and reporting capabilities
- Providing meaningful insights to support business decision-making
- Collaborating with technical and business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements
- Challenging existing processes and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role,



you will demonstrate:

- Proven experience as a Data Analyst, BI Analyst, or Business Intelligence Specialist
- Strong Power BI development and reporting experience
- Experience working within Azure data environments
- Strong data modelling, transformation, and data mapping capabilities
- Experience consolidating and analysing data from multiple sources
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication abilities
- The ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment
- A proactive mindset with a passion for improving processes and leveraging technology to drive better outcomes
