About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Receptionist/Dental Nurse to join our friendly team in Frenchs Forest. This is a casual position that offers flexibility whilst providing essential support to our dental practice. You will be the welcoming face of our clinic, managing patient interactions, administrative tasks, and providing chairside dental nursing support as required. This role is pivotal in ensuring our patients receive exceptional service from the moment they arrive at our practice.

What you'll be doing

- Greeting patients warmly and professionally, managing check-ins and maintaining a welcoming reception area

- Scheduling appointments, managing the appointment book and sending appointment reminders to patients

- Processing patient payments, handling invoicing and maintaining accurate financial records

- Completing patient registration forms and maintaining confidential patient records in compliance with privacy regulations

- Providing chairside dental nursing support, including assisting dentists during patient treatments and procedures

- Sterilising and preparing dental instruments and treatment rooms between patients

- Managing dental supplies inventory and placing orders as required

- Answering patient enquiries by phone and email, providing information about treatments and procedures

- Supporting the overall smooth operation of the dental practice and contributing to a positive patient experience

What we're looking for

- A friendly, professional demeanour with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Experience in a dental practice, reception or customer service setting (preferred but not essential)

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently





- Proficiency with dental practice management software and general computer skills

- Attention to detail and accuracy when handling patient information and records

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced clinical environment

- A commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to health and safety regulations

- Flexible availability to work casual hours as required by the practice
