Based in Padstow, it is an Award winning and progressive company at the forefront of its industry, an industry that is undergoing significant technological and process change.

Right now, there is an exciting prospect for a recent mechanical or chemical engineering graduate to join the team and be part of the ongoing change.

In this role, you will become the focal point for the company’s customers from both a technical and commercial perspective. In order to do so, your first assignment will be to develop an intimate knowledge of the galvanising process and how to inspect and approve in coming work to ensure it meets relevant standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Liaise with clients on acceptance requirements for incoming work.

- Work with receiving to inspect and pass incoming work.

- Coordinate with other departments on issues impacting customer orders and assist with quality and compliance





- Advise customers of defects and other quality issues.

- Liaise with logistics and production regarding customer delivery timetables.

- Interpret engineering drawings to advise clients on preparation requirements and to assist with quoting and pricing of work.

- Receive customer orders and RFQ’s and assist in the preparation of quotations and proposals.

This is an entry level role for a recent graduate. There is the potential for ongoing career development along either a technical or commercial pathway over 1-2 years.

As such the successful candidate must have excellent verbal and written English language skills and a proactive, outgoing nature. The ability to provide, clear, precise and simple advice to customers about often complex topics will be key.

Candidates with a chemical engineering background may also gain exposure to and assist with the rapidly changing process chemistry being implemented by the industry.
