Chief Fluid Systems is looking for a motivated, organised, and personable Internal Sales Representative to join our team.

We’re a close-knit team and Australia’s choice supplier of flexible hose assemblies and fluid conveying products, working across the Defence, Naval, Industrial, and high-pressure water blast sectors. We support major Defence primes and OEMs including Babcock, BAE Systems, Navantia, and Thales.

This is an internal sales role at the centre of our customer work. You’ll handle enquiries, prepare quotes, process orders, and keep things moving between our customers, suppliers, and workshop. It’s a great entry point into technical sales with room to grow. For the right person, the role can develop into account management and external sales as you build your product knowledge and customer relationships.

What’s on Offer

- $40 – $45 per hour (dependent on experience) + Super

- Monday to Friday, based at our Chipping Norton office

Key Responsibilities

- Respond to customer enquiries by phone and email





- Prepare quotes for hose assemblies, fittings, valves, and related products, and follow them up

- Build relationships with existing customers and identify additional opportunities

- Check stock availability and request pricing/lead times from suppliers and OEM partners

- Work with the workshop to track jobs and keep customers updated on delivery

- Develop a strong working knowledge of our product range and partner lines

- Maintain accurate customer and order records

- Support tenders, proposals, and larger quotes as needed

- Provide general administrative support across the business when needed

About You

- Some experience in sales, customer service, or a trade or technical environment is a plus, but not essential

- A positive attitude and a genuine willingness to learn

- Confident communicator, comfortable on the phone and dealing with customers

- Organised, with strong attention to detail

- Able to juggle several jobs at once and follow them through

- Comfortable with Microsoft Office and learning new systems

- An interest in mechanical, hydraulic, or technical products is highly regarded
