Join our Facilities & Open Spaces team in this Level 3-4 (Stream B) role. Carry out weed control, brush cutting, revegetation and habitat restoration, maintain natural area infrastructure, and use small plant and power tools to care for our region's beaches, bushland, coastal reserves and natural areas.

You'll need:

- Relevant experience in weed control, including herbicide and pesticide use, and vegetation restoration.
- A QLD "C" Class driver licence (or interstate equivalent), Construction White Card, Chainsaw Level 1 and Chemical Accreditation (AQF3).
- Sound communication and client service skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues, volunteers and community groups.
- A safety-first approach and the ability to work productively in a small team in varying terrain.

A Certificate II in Conservation and Land Management, an ACDC Commercial Operators Licence and knowledge of vegetation management and habitat restoration techniques are desirable.
