Fremantle Diesel Services is a small owned and family operated business based in the Fremantle area. We have a small team of enthusiastic people and are looking for a Light Vehicle Mechanic who is highly motivated and dedicated to join our team and grow with us.

This hands-on role involves servicing, diagnosing, and repairing on a range of vehicles and equipment for both internal fleet and external customers.

You'll be exposed to working on all a variety of vehicles including petrol and diesel cars, buses, campervans, small, rigid trucks and trailers

This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanic who enjoys variety, thrives in a quick-past environment, and takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship

Please note location is in Fremantle area, applicants will need to reside within CBD

Key Duties Include:

- Inspection,



diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and mechanical components

- Performing scheduled maintenance and breakdown repairs

- Identifying faults and carrying out effective repairs to engines, transmission, breaks and hydraulics

- Reading and interpreting workshop manuals and technical documentation

- Maintaining accurate service records and ensuring all work meets safety standards

- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and OEM specifications

Key Requirements:

- Australian recognised Mechanical Trade qualification

- Practical experience working as a Light Vehicle Mechanic

- Strong diagnostic and excellent fault-finding skills with the ability to carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance

- Failure analysis concepts and exposure

- Commitment to high-quality, safe work practices

- Valid Driver's Licence
