The Opportunity:

doris Talent is delighted to be exclusively partnering with a highly respected, purpose-led not-for-profit organisation to appoint an exceptional Executive Assistant to support its CEO on a fixed-term basis.

This is an organisation doing genuinely important work, using technology, innovation and a people-first approach to make a meaningful difference in the community. And what a lovely opportunity this is!

You'll be working closely with a busy, approachable CEO who values honesty, curiosity, initiative and a good sense of humour. Someone who wants a genuine working partnership with their EA, built on trust, open communication and the confidence to get things done.

This is much more than diary management. We're looking for someone who can anticipate what's coming, manage competing priorities, confidently manage up and take ownership without needing constant direction.

Someone who can see the bigger picture, but is equally happy rolling up their sleeves and getting stuck into the practical details.

The Role:

As Executive Assistant to the CEO, you'll play an integral role in ensuring the CEO's time, priorities and commitments are managed effectively, while also supporting coordination across the broader executive team.

It's a busy, varied and rewarding position where no two days will look quite the same.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing proactive, high-level executive support to the CEO, anticipating needs and staying one step ahead.
- Managing a complex and frequently changing diary, prioritising competing demands and protecting time for important work.
- Coordinating diaries and meetings across four additional senior executives.
- Supporting Board meetings, including quarterly meeting coordination, papers, agendas and follow-up actions.
- Acting as a professional and trusted point of contact for senior stakeholders, including government representatives and external partners.
- Coordinating domestic and occasional international travel, itineraries and associated logistics.
- Managing correspondence, expenses, administrative tasks and day-to-day executive requirements.
- Tracking multiple priorities and ensuring important actions don't fall through the cracks.

- Identifying potential issues early, communicating openly and confidently finding solutions.
- Working with digital tools and systems to improve efficiency, organisation and communication.

Importantly, you'll be trusted to use your judgement, make decisions and take ownership. The CEO values regular communication and alignment, but doesn't want someone who needs to be told what to do every step of the way.

About You:

We're looking for an experienced EA who brings a wonderful combination of capability, confidence, emotional intelligence and personality.

You'll have supported a CEO, executive or similarly senior leader in a busy, complex environment, and you'll genuinely enjoy being the person who keeps everything moving.

Ideally, you'll bring:

- Demonstrated experience supporting a CEO or senior executive in a high-level EA capacity.
- Exceptional diary management, organisation and prioritisation skills.
- The confidence to manage up, respectfully challenge priorities and protect your executive's time.
- A proactive mindset, with the ability to anticipate needs and act
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to juggle multiple competing priorities
- Strong digital capability, with an openness to new technology, collaboration platforms and AI tools.
- A genuine willingness to tackle everything from complex executive coordination to the smaller administrative tasks that make a big difference.

Experience in the not-for-profit, government or similarly stakeholder-rich sectors would be beneficial, but isn't essential. Most importantly, attitude is key!

We'd love to meet someone who is warm, personable, curious and down-to-earth. Someone who can build trust quickly, enjoys a laugh,

isn't afraid to ask questions and takes genuine pride in supporting others to do their best work.

You'll need to be comfortable with a fast-moving environment, changing priorities and a CEO who values both independence and collaboration.

What's On Offer?

There's plenty to love about this opportunity!

- Salary of approximately $110,000–$115,000 + Super
- Salary packaging benefits ,
- An additional week of wellbeing and reflection leave, on top of four weeks' annual leave.
- A fixed-term prospect of up to 12 months.
- The opportunity to work closely with an approachable CEO and an experienced executive team.
- A collaborative, values-led workplace where curiosity, honesty and having fun are genuinely encouraged.
- The chance to contribute to an organisation making a meaningful difference in people's lives.

Why We Love This Opportunity:

For me, it's the combination of the people, the purpose and the genuine partnership this role offers.

Having spent time speaking with the CEO, it's clear they're looking for someone they can really trust and work alongside. Someone who will bring their own ideas, use their initiative and help create the space for the CEO to focus on what matters most.

It's also an opportunity to join an organisation that embraces innovation and genuinely cares about its people and the community it serves.

If you're an EA who loves making an impact, rather than simply working through a task list, I think you'll really enjoy this one.

Interested?

We'd love to hear from you. If you're an experienced Executive Assistant who loves being a trusted right hand, thrives on responsibility and wants to work somewhere that genuinely makes a difference, we'd love to hear from you.
