We're looking for an experienced and motivated Café Supervisor to join our team.

Moreish Café is longstanding, Maitland CBD café open 7:30am to 3pm, Monday to Friday. We focus on serving great coffee & fresh food accompanied by fast, friendly service.

We're looking for someone with experiencing leading a small team, has strong barista skills, and understands what it takes to keep a café running smoothly.

Enjoy a excellent work-life balance with a consistent Monday to Friday roster. Shifts start at 7:00am and generally finish around 3:30pm, leaving your evenings and weekends free.

About the role

This is a hands on role where you’ll work alongside your team, preparing customer orders, delivering great service and work to ensure smooth operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Opening & closing the venue.

- Preparing consistent, high quality coffee.

- Leading and supporting a small team during service.





- Maintaining excellent customer service and presentation standards across all staff.

- Coordinating our team and stock to ensure efficient service.

- Overseeing stock rotation

- Maintaining coffee equipment to ensure consistent coffee quality, optimal performance and cleanliness.

- Monitoring stock levels, completing stocktakes and communicating ordering requirements.

- Maintaining food safety & venue cleanliness.

About you

We're looking for someone who:

- Has previous experience in a café supervisory or senior barista role.

- Is a confident, experienced barista with strong coffee knowledge.

- Has excellent communication and organisational skills.

- Can lead a team positively while holding high standards.

- Is reliable, proactive and comfortable taking responsibility.

- Has a strong eye for detail and takes pride in a job well done.

- Can stay organised and composed during busy periods.
