Take greater ownership of projects, with the support to grow beyond your current role.

We’re partnering with a growing, privately owned civil contractor, with a current revenue around $50M/month and a $3 Billion infrastructure and development pipeline, to find an experienced Project Engineer.

You’ll support a variety of projects, from sub-divisions, road construction, and bulk earthworks from Caboolture to South Brisbane. With a portfolio including major aviation and port infrastructure projects, you’ll get experience across some of Brisbane’s biggest projects.

“You’re trusted to get on with the job, but help is always available when needed.”

What’s In It For You

- This role brings together project ownership, wide-ranging civil work and access to experienced leaders, so you can develop while making a visible contribution.

- Autonomy without being left on your own: Take initiative and contribute ideas, knowing support is available when delivery challenges arise.

- Experience that broadens your next move: Work across sub-divisions, road construction and bulk earthworks, strengthening your planning, coordination and commercial skills.

- Learning built into the work: Develop alongside experienced civil construction leaders who provide clear direction and support your development.

- A visible contribution as the business grows: Help shape project outcomes in an expanding team where there is room to develop as the business evolves.

- Be close to home: work on projects in the Brisbane metro area and say goodbye to long travel days.

“The team is made up of not only highly capable operators but also genuinely good people, which makes a big difference day to day.”

What You’ll Do

- Work closely with the on-site team to deliver projects to time and cost requirements, coordinating the people, materials and information needed to keep work moving.

- Plan and coordinate delivery: Manage construction planning and programming, procurement, quote requests, suppliers and subcontractors while coordinating work across concurrent projects.

- Keep quality and commercial outcomes on track: Help implement and manage project quality systems and inspection and test plans, track costs, prepare monthly progress claims and reporting, and apply relevant standards and policies.

About You

- You hold a Bachelor of Civil Engineering, have at least two years’ construction industry experience and a current driver’s licence.

- You bring multidisciplinary civil experience (Urban, Mining, DTMR, Slope Stabilisation, etc), can deliver to tight deadlines and work with safety, environmental, specification, design and contractual requirements in mind.

- Experience with TMR and RMS specifications is highly regarded.

About the Company

Join a privately owned civil contractor that combines an emerging business’s agility with a growing team and a $3 Billion pipeline of civil infrastructure and development work. With teamwork, innovation and personal development at the centre of its culture, the business offers scope to contribute ideas and grow your experience as its operations expand.

“Great mentors and supportive leaders with high standards.”
