Swansea Medical Centre offers the opportunity to join an established and welcoming practice in the picturesque lakeside township of Swansea, situated on the shores of Swansea Channel and Lake Macquarie.

We offer a guaranteed $300/hour for the first 3 months or 70% of billings, whichever is higher.

Swansea Medical Centre is seeking a General Practitioner to join our friendly and supportive team.

We are a well-established, long-standing, family-friendly practice with a large and loyal patient base, offering excellent income-earning potential.

Enjoy working in our modern, purpose-built medical centre alongside our existing team of six GPs, three fabulous practice nurses and a dedicated administrative team who provide excellent support to our doctors and patients.

Essential Requirements

- Medical qualifications recognised by the Australian Medical Council (AMC).
- Current or eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Eligible to obtain a Medicare provider number under the relevant requirements.
- For International Medical Graduates (IMGs), eligibility for a minimum Level 2 supervision arrangement is essential.
- Ability to meet the relevant AHPRA registration and supervision requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred healthcare.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
