Eye5 Optometrists is an independent optometry practice known for exceptional care, genuine patient relationships and beautifully curated eyewear. We proudly focus on quality over speed and people over everything.

We're looking for quick to learn, organise, attentive, friendly Optical Assistant / Receptionist to join our close-knit team. You don't need optometry experience, but great if you have some — if you're great with people and have worked in a customer-facing role, we'll train you.

What You'll Do

- Welcome and greet patients





- Answer phone calls, book appointments, process payments and complete banking

- Perform preliminary testing before eye exams (full training provided)

- Support the team to ensure the practice runs smoothly

- A willingness to get involved in our social media content—you don’t need to be an expert, just bring your ideas, enthusiasm and sense of fun!

What We're Looking For

- Warm, confident communicator

- Previous customer service or retail experience (any industry)

- Skilled presentation and reliability

- Quick to learn and detail focussed

- Willingness to learn and contribute to a supportive team
