Are you passionate about connecting communities and creating meaningful engagement experiences? As our Senior Community Engagement Advisor, you will lead the delivery of strategic engagement initiatives that help shape key projects, services and decisions across the City. Working closely with internal stakeholders, community members and external partners, you'll provide expert advice, build strong relationships and ensure community voices are heard. Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

- Lead engagement and communications for strategic City projects.
- Provide expert advice from project planning through delivery.
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders and business units.
- Manage complex, sensitive and high-profile community issues.
- Develop engagement strategies, consultation plans and programs.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, information sessions and consultations.
- Analyse community feedback to inform decisions and outcomes.
- Coordinate engagement activities across diverse project portfolios.
- Drive best-practice engagement, innovation and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will have the following:

- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
- Experience delivering community consultation and engagement programs.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.




- Ability to manage complex or sensitive community issues.
- Strong project coordination skills with a focus on outcomes.
- A satisfactory National Police Certificate

Selection Criteria

1. Demonstrated experience leading complex stakeholder engagement and communications programs.
2. Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders and community groups.
3. Demonstrated experience managing contentious, sensitive or high-profile community issues.
4. Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
5. Demonstrated ability to provide strategic advice and influence project outcomes through effective engagement.
6. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
7. Demonstrated commitment to the City's values and customer-focused service delivery.

Hours of Work

This is a 5 year Fixed-term full-time position working Monday to Friday, 75 hours per fortnight.

About the Benefits

This position offers a salary of Level 7 being $102,391 to $108,637 per annum pro rata,



(depending on the skills and experience of the successful applicant) plus 12% superannuation.
