We’re looking for curious people who are keen to learn, happy to have a go and interested in understanding how a manufacturing business runs from the ground up.

The Little Big Dairy Co. is a family-owned dairy business based just outside Dubbo. Our family comes from a long, proud line of dairy farmers. In 2012, our family decided to bring the beautiful, sustainably produced milk from our farm to market by starting a different type of dairy company focused on the best milk you can buy. We do this because we’re driven to keep farming.

Because we are a small and nimble business, you won’t be sitting on the sidelines watching. You’ll get involved, ask questions, solve problems and see how the decisions made in one part of the business impact everything else.

Business Graduate – 12-Week Graduate Rotation Program

This role is for someone who has completed university and wants to get a better understanding of how a business actually works day to day.

You do not need to be fresh out of uni.

You may already have some work experience and be looking for a role where you can get broader exposure, build practical skills and work out what areas of business you enjoy most.

Over 12 weeks,



you will spend time across different parts of Little Big.

The role includes office work, time in the factory and exposure to our customers, deliveries and day-to-day operations.

You will spend time across:

Marketing & Sales

- Helping with marketing tasks and campaigns

- Supporting customer communication

- Assisting with sales and customer follow-up

- Helping with social media and brand activity

Operations & Manufacturing

- Spending time in the factory

- Learning how production works

- Understanding food safety, quality and compliance

- Seeing how production planning works day to day

- Seeing and understanding how inventory is managed

Distribution & Logistics

- Learning how our delivery runs work

- Helping with delivery planning and coordination

- Understanding cold-chain requirements

- Seeing how we work with depots and distribution partners

Finance

- Exposure to accounts payable and receivable

- Helping with basic finance administration

- Understanding how the finance side of the business supports operations

Human Resources & Recruitment

- Helping with recruitment and onboarding

- Learning about HR administration and policies

- Understanding some of the people and compliance work behind the business

General Business Support & Projects

- Helping with projects across the business

- Supporting the team with priorities as they come up

- Looking at ways we can improve how we do things

At the end of the 12-week rotation, the plan is to move into three main focus areas.

Two will be based on what the business needs at the time.





One will be based on an area you are interested in and want to develop further, where it also makes sense for the business.

The idea is that by the end of the rotation, both you and us have a much better understanding of where you work best, what you enjoy and where you can keep developing.
