Data & Reporting Analyst | NSW Government

- Rate: $625/day + Super

- Location: Parramatta (Initial 5 days onsite -> Hybrid flexibilit in few weeks)

- Contract: Initial to 30 June 2027 (Possibility of extension)

- Eligibility: AU Citizen / Permanent Resident / NZ Citizen (National Police Check required)

The Role

Join a major NSW Government department (20K+ users) delivering a strategic digital workplace transformation. You will analyze legacy applications, evaluate Power Platform suitability, track access/redundancies, and build actionable executive reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Extract, clean, and analyze legacy application data using SQL.

- Design interactive Power BI dashboards with granular drill-down capability.

- Assess application landscape to identify redundancies, expired access,



and Power Platform migration potential.

- Present strategic insights and reports to project leaders.

Requirements

- 3+ years in Data/Reporting Analytics within a large-scale setting.

- Strong proficiency in Power BI (building custom dashboards & drill-downs).

- Solid SQL skills for data extraction and querying.
