Whitty Engineering is expanding and we’re looking for skilled Boilermakers / Fabricators, Fitters, and Welders who want reliable work, diverse projects, and a workplace that values quality and initiative. **Trade qualifications not essential for Production Welder roles**

Standard hours are rostered across a Monday to Friday working week, with weekend shifts shared across the team to meet our customers’ needs. Opportunities don’t come around all that often to blend lifestyle with attractive wages.

What you’ll do

You’ll work across fabrication, welding,



assembly and installation or the machining aspects of the workshop.

Fabricators and Production Welders: You’ll read drawings, shape and form metal, produce high-quality welds, check your own work, and support apprentices and trade assistants. You’ll work with mild steel, stainless, aluminium and more.

Fitters: You’ll work across manual and CNC machining, assembly and repair work. You’ll read and interpret drawings, machine components to spec, check quality, and support apprentices and trade assistants.

What you’ll bring

- Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication or Mechanical Trade; OR Welding Experience

- Experience in structural steel or general fabrication, or fitting / machining, or production welding

- Problem solving capacity

- Ability to read drawings and welding symbols

- A commitment to safety and quality

- A self-starter attitude and pride in your work
