About the role

We are seeking an experienced Butcher to join our team at Canberra Quality Meats' in Calwell, ACT. This full-time role will see you play a key part in delivering high-quality meat products and exceptional customer service to our loyal client base.

What you'll be doing
Preparing a wide variety of meat products to our exacting standards
Ensuring all meat is stored and handled according to food safety regulations
Providing excellent customer service and advice to our patrons
Maintaining a clean, organised and well-stocked butchery
Assisting with receiving and processing meat deliveries
Collaborating with the team to improve processes and efficiency

What we're looking for
Several years' experience as a Butcher
Strong knowledge of meat cuts, quality and preparation techniques
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Valuable physical stamina and the ability to work on your feet for extended periods
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to food safety




The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
