We are seeking a friendly, relatable, and patient male NDIS support worker to act as a mentor and older brother figure for a teenage male in the Lower North Shore area (near Chatswood).
The Role:
Focus on building the participant's confidence and independence through community outings, engaging conversations, and exploring shared interests.
Provide consistent, long-term support to build a solid, trusting relationship.
Approximately 4 hours per week.
Requirements:
Fluent English communication skills (Essential).
A calm, gentle demeanor and a patient approach to communication.
Experience supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is highly regarded.
