About the role

This is a full time position, working Monday to Friday, with some Saturdays as required.

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of our parts and stores function.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and reliable Parts Storeman to join our busy workshop team.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to;
Purchasing stock and job-specific parts for the workshop
Maintaining stock levels across the workshop, tool store, parts shed, welding bay, and bulk oil tanks
Conducting weekly stocktake
Maintaining accurate registers and records
Receiving and checking parts deliveries




Managing returns of unused or incorrect parts and maintaining credit registers
Packaging parts and organising courier collections
Preparing and dispatching SOS (oil sampling) bottles for analysis
Purchasing tools and equipment for mechanics and apprentices

Preferred qualifications, skills, and experience;
A strong work ethic and positive attitude
Good organisational and record-keeping skills
An interest in the mechanical or heavy vehicle industry
Previous experience in a similar role (highly regarded but not essential)
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
