Electrical Generator Technician

This is an chance to join a large, successful Australian business that is focused on generators and the ongoing service customers rely on to keep their equipment operating. The company supports a diverse customer base from major tier 1 clients, manufacturing, mills and health, data and has an established team with strong technical experience. It offers the scale and stability of a well-established operation, alongside practical, hands on work in the field. The role Based across Sydney, you’ll travel to customer sites to service and maintain generators and related equipment. The work combines scheduled maintenance with fault finding and repairs, so you’ll need to be comfortable diagnosing issues and working safely on site. You’ll manage your day in the field while staying in contact with customers and the wider service team. Generator experience is an advantage, though electricians who have had some exposure and want to build their capability in this area are also encouraged to apply.



Your responsibilities Carry out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on generators Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and complete repairs Attend customer sites across the Sydney territory Explain service findings and equipment requirements clearly to customers Record completed work and follow safe work procedures Work with the service team to support customers and keep equipment running reliably About you You hold an electrical trade qualification and current electrician’s licence You have experience working as a qualified electrician You have worked with generators or have had some exposure to them You take a careful, methodical approach to fault finding and safety You’re comfortable working independently, travelling between sites and dealing with customers On Offer Hourly rate of $45
