Interior Design Documentor / Revit Technician Contract Position | Melbourne

About the Role
Our Client is seeking an experienced Interior Design Documentation Technician to join our team on a contract basis, supporting the delivery of high-end hospitality, fine dining and commercial interior projects. Working closely with the Head of Interior Design and project team, you will play a key role in producing accurate, coordinated and high-quality interior design documentation, with a particular focus on joinery detailing, interior elevations, and construction documentation. This is a hands-on technical role suited to someone with robust Revit skills, attention to detail and experience delivering interior documentation within a rapid-paced architectural or design consultancy environment.

Key Responsibilities
Produce detailed interior design documentation using Revit, including plans, elevations, sections and construction details.
Develop detailed joinery drawings and details.
Coordinate interior design documentation with architectural, services, kitchen and other consultant drawings.
Review drawings for accuracy, consistency, completeness and compliance with project requirements.




Incorporate design mark-ups and consultant feedback efficiently and accurately.
Assist with design development and construction documentation packages to meet project deadlines.
Work collaboratively with the interior design and architectural teams to resolve technical detailing and coordination issues. Skills and Experience
Demonstrated experience in ID documentation within an architectural, interior design practice.
Valuable working knowledge of Revit and the ability to produce detailed, well-coordinated documentation.
Strong technical knowledge of interior fitouts, joinery detailing, finishes and construction methods.
Experience documenting hospitality
restaurants, retail, multi residential, workplace or other commercial interiors is highly regarded.
Excellent attention to detail, organisation and time management.
Ability to work independently, follow design direction and deliver accurate documentation within tight deadlines.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working within a project team.
