HammondCare Miranda is currently looking for Casual Specialised Carers – Residential Carer to join our team.

Essence of the role With our unique model of care which places the residents’ needs as your number one priority, you will help create a home away from home for our residents. This role requires you to provide tailored care including personal support within the residential home.

Personal care – showering, grooming, toileting etc

Provide life engagement

Support residents with levels of dementia

Recognise, report and respond appropriately to changes in the conditions of residents within your skills and competencies

All recent staff will complete an onsite orientation with a Workplace Trainer, have buddy shifts and be supported by experienced Registered Nurses and Managers on site.

Be versatile and able to commit to a range of shifts including nights & weekends

Have knowledge & experience of people living with Dementia & their needs

Applicants with Cert lll or Cert lV in Aged Care would be viewed favourably
