About the role
Launceston Golf Club is seeking an enthusiastic, reliable and customer-focused individual to join our Golf Shop team on a casual basis. As an important first point of contact for members, guests and visitors, you will play a key role in delivering a welcoming and professional experience while supporting the day-to-day operation of the Golf Shop. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for golf, retail or customer service who enjoys working in a friendly, team-oriented workplace.

Key responsibilities
Provide friendly, professional service to members, guests and visitors.
Manage golf bookings, tee times and player registrations.
Assist with the administration and coordination of daily golf competitions.
Process retail sales, green fees and other transactions using point-of-sale systems.
Assist with stock presentation, merchandising and general retail operations.
Respond to telephone, email and in-person enquiries.
Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming Golf Shop.
Work collaboratively with the Club's Golf Professional, management and wider team to ensure smooth daily operations. About you
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
A friendly, approachable and skilled manner.




Reliability, punctuality and a robust work ethic.
Confidence using computers, booking systems and POS technology.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends and occasional public holidays.
Previous experience working in a golf Pro Shop, golf club, retail or hospitality setting viewed favourably.
Experience using MiClub for golf bookings, competition management and member administration viewed favourably.
Familiarity with MiScore, including electronic scoring and competition processes viewed favourably.
