Assistant Venue Manager – The Mulberry Group

Salary:
$80,000–$90,000 per annum, excluding superannuation About The Mulberry Group The Mulberry Group is a Melbourne-based hospitality group operating a portfolio of restaurants and bars recognised for quality food, beverage and guest experiences. We are seeking an experienced Assistant Venue Manager to support the Venue Manager in leading restaurant operations and maintaining exceptional service standards.

Key Responsibilities
Assist with overseeing daily venue operations and front-of-house service.
Lead, supervise, train and develop hospitality employees.
Support rostering, labour management, inventory control and purchasing.
Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve customer concerns.
Assist with financial reporting, budgeting and cost management.
Ensure compliance with food safety, workplace health and safety, and liquor licensing requirements.
Act as the senior manager on duty when required. Skills and Experience Required




Minimum two years of relevant experience in a hospitality management or supervisory position.
Proven ability to lead and develop front-of-house teams.
Robust knowledge of restaurant operations, guest service and food and beverage management.
Experience with rostering, stock control and operational administration.
Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced dining setting.
Previous experience in premium dining is highly regarded.
