About Wharf & Co Wharf & Co is a waterfront restaurant and bar on Marina Pier, Glenelg. We reopened recently and are building a kitchen team. The Role We’re looking for a reliable Kitchen Hand to keep our kitchen running smoothly. It’s a hands-on role and the backbone of a good service. Day to day you’ll be:
Washing and keeping the kitchen, equipment and crockery clean and ready
Keeping benches, floors and prep areas spotless and up to food safety standards
Helping chefs with basic prep when needed
Receiving and storing deliveries, and keeping the coolroom and dry store organised
Taking out rubbish, recycling and keeping the back of house tidy through service What we’re looking for
A robust work ethic and genuine reliability




The ability to keep pace during a busy service and stay organised under pressure
A team player who communicates well with chefs and the wider kitchen
Positive hygiene habits and an eye for cleanliness
Availability across days, nights and weekends
Previous kitchen experience is a bonus but not essential What’s on offer
Hands-on training and the chance to learn from experienced chefs
A genuine pathway for anyone keen to grow into kitchen or cookery roles
One of the best locations in Adelaide to come to work Pay: $33.85 – $45.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
