For over 15 years, we have been supporting older people, and people living with disability, to live independently in their own homes and stay connected to their local community. Our friendly, compassionate and experienced team makes this possible. We are currently looking for dedicated Support Worker to join a team near the Wangaratta area to work with a customer that requires full time care. The roster for this team is broken up into 3 time slots
Morning
8am to 2pm
Afternoon
2pm to10pm
Sleepover
8pm to 10am Pay rates range from
Weekdays
$34.99
$40.00 per hour
Weeknight
39.19
$43.71 per hour
Weekend and Public holiday rates
$48.00+ per hour Duties and responsibilities include:
Personal care: showering, dressing, grooming and medication assistance
Social support/transportation for social activities, shopping, travelling to medical appointments
Domestic assistance:



light household cleaning, meal preparation
Supporting the customer in the use of aids and personal equipment
Supporting the customer with complex and/or challenging needs
Monitoring the well-being of the customer and reporting on their progress
Provide updates on the customer’s progress following each service About you:
Experience in the field is an advantage
Valuable interpersonal skills & written/verbal communication skills
Ability to build rapport & valuable working relationships
Comfortable using technology (i.e. mobile app) for accessing rosters & recording customer notes/feedback What you will need:
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance / Criminal Record Check
Current First Aid certificate/CPR
Current Australian Drivers License
Reliable, registered, and insured vehicle
Smart phone with internet access
Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support or Disability Services
Medication Administration certificate is an advantage Just Better Care
