About the role

An exciting prospect exists for an experienced and commercially driven Group General Manager to take the lead across two of Perth's nightlife and entertainment venues. HUSH Perth is a multi-level nightclub and entertainment destination in East Perth, complemented by Truth Perth, an intimate boutique bar in the heart of the Perth CBD. You will be responsible for the overall management, financial performance and strategic direction of HUSH Perth and Truth Perth. With both venues primarily trading Friday and Saturday nights, the position combines weekday business management with hands-on leadership during key trading periods. Your focus will be on growing revenue, improving operating margins, developing strong teams and ensuring both venues consistently perform at their best.

Key responsibilities
Full accountability for revenue, budgets, operating costs and profitability across both venues
Develop and execute strategies to maximise revenue and operating margins
Establish and deliver weekly, monthly and annual financial targets
Identify commercial opportunities to grow the businesses
Manage labour costs, purchasing, inventory and supplier relationships
Provide transparent financial reporting and performance recommendations to the Directors




Lead the day-to-day operations of both venues
Oversee Friday and Saturday trading, ensuring consistent service and operational standards
Manage venue presentation, maintenance, security and compliance
Recruit, develop and lead high-performing hospitality teams

About you
Significant management experience in nightclubs, bars, entertainment venues or high-volume hospitality
Demonstrated success in increasing revenue and improving profitability
Solid financial management, budgeting and reporting capabilities
Experience leading large teams and multiple operational departments
Excellent knowledge of hospitality operations and liquor licensing compliance
Confidence making commercial decisions and taking ownership of business outcomes
Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
The ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on operational management
Flexibility to work Friday and Saturday nights
Previous experience overseeing multiple hospitality venues will be highly regarded
