Abrasive Blaster - Afternoon Shift

Wingfield, SA | Casual Position | $40-$50 per Hour

Are you an experienced Abrasive Blaster looking for a stable afternoon shift role with a growing South Australian business? We are seeking a reliable and motivated team member to join our production team in Wingfield.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a quick-paced manufacturing environment where quality, safety and teamwork are highly valued.

About the Role

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for preparing metal components and surfaces to a high standard using abrasive blasting equipment. Your work will play a critical role in ensuring products meet quality specifications before painting, coating and assembly.

Key Responsibilities
Operate abrasive blasting equipment safely and efficiently.
Prepare steel and metal surfaces for painting and finishing.
Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are achieved.
Perform routine equipment maintenance and housekeeping duties.
Follow all workplace health, safety and environmental procedures.
Work collaboratively with the production team to meet daily targets and deadlines.

Skills & Experience





To be successful in this role, you will possess:
Previous experience in abrasive blasting, surface preparation or a similar industrial environment.
Strong understanding of workplace safety practices and PPE requirements.
Ability to work in a physically demanding role.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Reliable work ethic and positive attitude.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Forklift licence (desirable but not essential).
