About the role

Reporting directly to the Duty Manager, the Housekeeping Supervisor / Team Leader will lead by example in performing and overseeing the day to day activities of the housekeeping department whilst simultaneously creating and maintaining a unique guest experience. Being a small site, the position may also be required to assist in all other positions from time to time.

Key responsibilities
Direct and oversee room service and housekeeping activities
Supervise security arrangements, and garden and property maintenance
Assess and review customer satisfaction
Oversee purchasing activities
Lead the housekeeping team during season, and be self-directed out of season to ensure all ongoing housekeeping maintenance tasks are done
Enhance the guest experience through housekeeping services
Provide accurate daily, weekly and monthly reports as directed by the Duty Manager




Maintain full understanding of HAZOPs and relevant regulations related to OH&S;

About you
Proven experience as a housekeeper
Prior experience as a team lead in housekeeping
Solid organisational skills
Self-starting with attention to detail
Manual drivers licence
Experience in HAZOP
Friendly mannerisms and fluent in English
Excellent presentation and grooming standards
Current senior first aid and CPR (Desired)
Familiarity with the tourism industry (Desired)
