Talent International is currently recruiting for a Contract Administrator to work for the Local Government, based in Bankstown. This position is 12 months initially, with a view to be extended, and the role pays $80 per hour + Super.

7 hours a day / 35 hours a week

About the role

You will administer professional consulting, construction, and Design and Construct contracts.

Your responsibilities will include:
Developing systems to distribute financial information to internal Program Managers and internal and external Project Managers.
Improving contract administration systems and documentation in line with the Project Management Framework.
Maintaining qualified relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Identifying project issues and recommending practical solutions.
Contributing to continuous improvement and complying with Council quality, WHS and environmental requirements.
Demonstrated experience as a Contract Administrator or Coordinator in land development and/or civil infrastructure projects.




Solid working knowledge of AS4902 and AS4000 contracts.
Experience administering civil works and professional services contracts, including geotechnical investigations, civil design and construction services.
Understanding of TechnologyOne CiA and TRIM Content Manager CM9.
Working knowledge of financial systems and the ability to extract reports.
Strong planning, organisation, coordination and prioritisation skills.
High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint and PowerPoint.
Solid communication skills and the ability to contribute effectively within a team.
Current Class C driver’s licence.
Certificate, diploma or higher qualification in contract administration.
Knowledge of approval processes for utility service provision.
Working knowledge of Council and state planning controls.
Ability to develop cost control and financial reporting systems.
