As a Permanent Senior Support Worker, you will provide high-quality, person-centered care to individuals living with a disability. You will be directly empowering participants to achieve autonomy at home and in the community, specializing in complex care support.

Key responsibilities
Provide tailored personal care and facilitate daily living tasks
Drive community access, social engagement, and goal progression
Administer medication safely and accurately and mentor support workers in the unit to do the same
Implement Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) frameworks to manage complex needs
Mentor and support workers in the SIL or ILO to implement participant support plans
Have oversight and ensure documentation and reporting is being completed accurately at the unit and ensure compliance requirements are being met
Responsible for completing and documenting induction shifts for current team members
Deliver empathetic emotional and wellbeing support

About you
A naturally compassionate, empathetic, and patient nature with excellent communication skills
Proven experience in supporting and/or mentoring support workers
A solid foundational understanding of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) frameworks




Demonstrated ability to meet reporting deadlines and ensure records are kept up to date and current
A current Australian driver's license, a reliable insured vehicle, and current First Aid & CPR qualifications
Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or an equivalent relevant qualification
A valid NDIS Worker Screening Check and a Working With Children Check (WWCC)
Basic digital literacy to document accurate, high-quality shift notes and incident reports
