The essential requirements for this role are:Previous experience in relevant trade (Carpentry and Joinery, Engineering related discipline ie Boilermaker or Sheetmetal, Horticulture or Chef)Experience in leading with the ability to motivate and encourage others to meet the challenges of demanding work rolesExperience and understanding of case management in a human services fieldExperience in managing resourcesProblem solvingNetworking skillsRisk managementCase management skillsConflict resolutionComputer and keyboard skillsCommunication skillsAbility to liaise with people from diverse social and cultural backgroundsQualifications, skilled registration, conditions and other requirementsMust already be an accredited Custodial Correctional Officer and possess a current Certificate III in Correctional Practices.
Certificate IV in Correctional Practice is a prerequisite for appointment to the role of Correctional Supervisor.
