We’re a busy, well-established practice with consultationsrunning Saturdays and Sundays, and we need someone dependable to keep reception runningsmoothly during those shifts.

About the role
Casual position, working Saturday and Sunday shifts on a regular roster. Ideal for someoneseeking versatile weekend work in a supportive, non-corporate practice. Duties
Greeting patients and visitors warmly on arrival
Answering and managing a busy multi-line phone system
Scheduling, confirming and rescheduling patient appointments
Processing Medicare, DVA, HICAPS and private billing at reception
Managing patient records and updating details in our practice software
Handling script and results enquiries in line with practice protocol




Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming reception and waiting area
Liaising with GPs, nurses and allied health staff throughout the shift What we’re looking for
Previous reception or customer service experience — medical reception highly regarded, but not essential
A calm, friendly and qualified phone manner
Comfortable working independently during weekend shifts
Robust attention to detail and the ability to multitask
Availability every Saturday and Sunday
Familiarity with Best Practice software is an advantage, though full training is provided
Friendly, non-corporate, well-established local practice
Full training and support from an experienced admin team
