Role Overview An exciting chance is available for a motivated Financial Accountant to join an established finance team within the resources sector on a temp to perm basis. Based in Perth CBD, this role offers exposure to a complex corporate environment, involvement in financial reporting and the prospect to contribute to the financial performance of a growing mining business. Working alongside experienced finance specialists, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end reporting and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities
Preparing monthly financial reports, management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
Supporting month-end and year-end closing processes.
Assisting with statutory reporting and financial statement preparation.




Ensuring compliance with Australian Accounting Standards and relevant regulatory requirements.
Managing general ledger activities, journals, accruals and prepayments.
Supporting audit processes and liaising with external auditors.
Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis as required.
Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting accuracy and internal controls.
Collaborating with stakeholders across the business to provide timely and reliable financial information. About You
A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
CA or CPA qualification, or be working towards completion.
Experience in a Financial Accountant or similar financial reporting role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and reconciliations.
Exposure to month-end and year-end processes.
Excellent analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail.
Solid communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
Experience within mining, resources or an ASX-listed environment will be highly regarded.
