About the role

You will oversee day-to-day site activities, coordinate trades and subcontractors, and ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard. You will be a key point of contact between our team, clients and trades throughout each job.

Key responsibilities
Supervise building repairs, carpentry and general maintenance works across multiple sites.
Schedule and coordinate trades, subcontractors, materials and equipment.
Conduct site inspections, assess maintenance requirements and prepare explicit scopes of work.
Monitor progress, workmanship, costs and completion timeframes.
Maintain safe worksites and ensure compliance with company procedures and applicable building requirements.
Communicate with clients and occupants to arrange access and provide progress updates.
Maintain accurate site records, photographs, reports and completion documentation.
Resolve site issues promptly and follow through on defects and outstanding works.

About you




Experience supervising building, renovation or maintenance works.
A relevant trade qualification, with a carpentry background highly regarded.
Sound knowledge of building methods, maintenance practices and workplace health and safety.
Robust leadership, planning and problem-solving skills.
The ability to manage several jobs and changing priorities.
Skilled communication and a commitment to client service.
Confidence using email, mobile apps and job management systems.
A current NSW driver's licence and White Card.
A current police check, or willingness to obtain one.
Flexibility to travel throughout Newcastle and the Central Coast, with occasional after-hours or weekend availability.
