Locum UK-Trained Theatre Radiographer - Sunshine Coast, QLD

re you a UK-trained Radiographer ready for life by the beach? We are seeking an experienced Theatre Radiographer for a locum placement in a hospital on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast. The role suits a confident radiographer with strong intraoperative imaging skills who enjoys a fast-paced surgical environment. Our team will guide you through the move, including AHPRA registration and the steps to start working in Australia.

About the Role:
Provide intraoperative imaging using mobile image intensifiers (C-arm) across a range of surgical procedures
Support orthopaedic, general and other surgical lists as required
Produce high-quality images in line with departmental protocols and radiation safety standards
Work closely with surgeons, anaesthetists and theatre nursing staff
Perform general X-ray examinations as needed
Maintain accurate imaging records and documentation

About You:
Qualified Diagnostic Radiographer, trained in the UK (HCPC registered) or Australia
AHPRA registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner, or eligible to apply (we can guide you through the process)
Experience in theatre and intraoperative imaging, including image intensifier (C-arm) use
Confident in general X-ray
Ideally at least 1 year of post-graduate experience
Eligible for an Australian visa or holding valid working rights
National Police Clearance (or overseas equivalent)
