Cakes West is seeking an energetic and reliableQualified Pastry Cookwith strong knowledge in Shortbread and Pastry production to join our dynamic production team at our wholesale factory in Bassendean
We are a leading provider of premium baked goods with over 20 years of experience in the industry
About the role:
High volume production of premium Shortbread, Sweet and Savoury pastries and Croissants
Decorating, finishing and presentation of products consistently to a high-quality
Baking goods and operation of large commercial ovens
Monday to Friday 5:00am to 1:00pm
Assisting other teams across all aspects of production as required
Requirements:
Qualified Pastry Cook with strong knowledge in Shortbread and Pastry Production
Meticulous in following recipes, procedures and process to ensure consistent high-quality products




Experienced in operating dough sheeter
Pastry Laminating and Proofing experience is highly desirable
Wholesale Industry experience in high-volume, fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently and effectively in a team under pressure to meet production targets
Strong understanding of HACCP / Food Safety Compliance / Quality Control
Transparent and concise communication skills
Must have Australian work rights (No Visa Sponsorship available)
