About the role

Do you like leading a team and still getting hands-on with the tech? We’re after a Datacentre Lead to run a small team looking after secure Defence datacentre environments. You’ll set the technical direction and keep everything running smoothly.

What you’ll bring
Demonstrated experience in enterprise datacentre management, Windows Server, Red Hat Linux, VMware virtualisation, storage platforms, networking, security controls and complex ICT settings.
Proven experience leading technical teams, directing ICT personnel, managing workloads, providing technical guidance, and engaging effectively with ADF, APS, contractors, project teams and senior Defence stakeholders.
Demonstrated capability to deliver within Defence, government or other highly secure ICT environments, including security compliance, integration activities, classified networks and Defence-related systems.
NV2 clearance with the ability to work onsite in Canberra.

You’ll also need to meet the DSS Panel Level 3 requirements (Systems Architecture, Integration).

Bonus points for VMware NSX/VCF, Cisco, Palo Alto or deployable Defence network experience.
