About the Role The position involves the fabrication and assembly of light gauge metal products, with a robust focus on MIG welding. You'll be working on quality fabrication projects in a well-maintained workshop alongside an experienced team.
Key Responsibilities
MIG welding of light gauge materials
Fabrication and assembly of metal components
Reading and interpreting basic drawings
Maintaining quality workmanship and workshop standards
Working safely and efficiently to production schedules

Skills & Experience
Competent MIG welding skills
Experience with light fabrication and light gauge materials
Ability to work from drawings and measurements




Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Reliable, punctual and committed to long-term employment

Desirable (Not Essential)
Experience with laser welding
Additional fabrication or sheet metal experience
