We are seeking an experienced and approachable People & Culture Advisor to join a supportive team based in Lismore on a fixed-term contract until July ****.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on HR professional who enjoys working closely with leaders and employees, providing practical advice and contributing to a positive workplace culture.
About the Role
As the People & Culture Advisor, you will provide generalist HR advice and support across a broad range of people-related matters.
Working collaboratively with managers and employees, you will help deliver effective HR solutions while supporting the organisation's broader people and culture initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing timely and practical HR advice to managers and employees.
Supporting employee relations matters, performance management and workplace issues.
Advising on HR policies, procedures and relevant employment legislation.
Assisting with recruitment, onboarding and employee lifecycle activities.
Supporting the implementation of People & Culture initiatives and projects.
Building strong working relationships with stakeholders across the organisation.




Contributing to continuous improvement of HR processes and practices.
About You
You are a confident and approachable HR skilled who enjoys working in a collaborative environment.
You have strong communication skills, sound judgement and the ability to balance competing priorities.
Ideally, you will bring:
Previous experience in a generalist HR or People & Culture advisory role.
A sound understanding of Australian employment legislation and HR best practices.
Experience providing advice on employee relations and performance management matters.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusted relationships.
Excellent organisational skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
Relevant qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
