Kippax Dental is a new growing dental practice in Holt, Kippax Shopping Centre Area, looking for an adaptable individual to assist the dentist chairside.
This role starts as Casual with a view to move to Full-Time for the right candidate.
You will need to be a rapid learner, team player who is good at multitasking.
Key responsibilities
Greet patients and prepare them for scheduled procedures
Provide assistance to the dentist, including operating suction and managing materials
Build rapport and communicate with patients
Clean and sterilize instruments; decontaminate treatment rooms in accordance with practice policies and ADA standards
Maintain dental equipment and monitor clinical stock levels
Manage incoming phone calls, schedule appointments, and perform follow-up confirmations
Prepare documented treatment plans, process payments (HICAPS/EFTPOS), and ensure accurate fee allocation
Maintain accurate patient records and databases
Assist with local marketing activities and opening week promotions as directed
About you




HSC or equivalent
Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting (favored but not essential)
Valid right to work in Australia
Ability to build rapport with patients and adapt communication styles for challenging situations
Proven ability to switch between clinical and desk duties under pressure
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and dental practice management software
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and compassionate approach to patient care
Strict adherence to infection control
Ability to work collaboratively with Dr. Liao to achieve the startup goals of Kippax Dental
Using logic to identify solutions for patient scheduling or administrative hurdles
