The Gap Village Doctors, is seeking an experienced Locum General Practitioner to join their team in December 2026. This is a contract position offering flexibility around weekend and weekday shifts, with remuneration at 70% of the standard rate or $180 per hour, whichever is more favourable. Accommodation and travel arrangements can be discussed to suit the successful candidate.

Preferred Requirements
Current registration with AHPRA as a General Practitioner
FRACGP or FACRRM qualification




Locum experience and comfort working across wide-ranging shift patterns
Solid clinical knowledge and ability to manage a diverse patient caseload
Professional communication skills and a collaborative approach to patient care

Preferred Qualifications
Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) or Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM)
Current CPD accreditation and professional indemnity insurance
Previous locum experience in Australian general practice settings
