About the Role
SSP Australia is currently seeking forSous Chefto join our vibrant team atTwo Johns TaphouseatMelbourne Airportfollowing the completion of its refurbishment on aFull-timebasis.
Working atTwo Johns Taphouse, the venue will offer travellers distinctive food, drinks and hospitality experiences in a vibrant airport setting.
As Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to support and lead the kitchen team, ensuring the delivery ofhigh-quality food, consistency and excellent presentation.
You will play an important role in maintaining culinary standards, supporting team development and ensuring smooth day-to-day kitchen operations.
What skills and experience are we looking for?
Previous experience as aSous Chefor in a similar senior kitchen role
Certificate IV or higher inCommercial Cookery (Essential)
Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (Essential)
Strong passion forquality food, culinary standards and presentation
Experience leading, supporting and developing a kitchen team
Strong understanding offood safety, hygiene and WHSpractices
Excellent organisation, time management and communication skills
A positive,



energetic andcan-do attitudewith a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences
