We are seeking a highly capable IBM Datastage SME for one of our clients.
This role will play a critical part in ensuring successful installation and upgrade of IBM Datastage on Red Hat.
This is initially a short-term engagement, so is ideally suited to someone based in Sydney, Australia wholooking for work and as a stop-gap before the Christmas slow/shut-down.
Remote/hybrid working will also be considered for the right candidate.

All candidates must be an Australian Citizen and must have a minimum of Baseline security level (Negative Vetting Level 1 preferred) and yourapplication will not progress without it,
The requisite skills and experience defined below, and
At least 5 years of local experience with DataStage
Key Responsibilities:
Investigate current ****** workplace and define target architecture.
Install a Production instance of Information Server ******** on RHEL 9.6.
Apply patches to the latest supported level.




Optionally implement latest capability such as Operations Console, IGC and configure DataStage operational metadata lineage.
Configure the new environment to match the existing setup.
Assist with the migration of assets (jobs, configurations, metadata, scripts).
Assist with regression testing and resolving issues.
Assist with go-live preparation and validation.
Mandatory skills required:
Minimum of 5 years experience with:
DataStage 11.7 installation and configuration,
RHEL V9+, and
DataStage migration and testing.

Role preference is onsite in Sydney, but hybrid/Remote will be considered.
Must have at least Australian Federal Government Security Level - Baseline (NV1 preferred).
