to support a major Federal Government department in designing, implementing and maintaining secure, reliable and high-performing enterprise network infrastructure.
About the Role
You will work across complex on-premises and cloud networking environments, collaborating with infrastructure, architecture and cybersecurity teams to enhance network performance, security and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, data centre and cloud network infrastructure.
Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs and load balancers.
Monitor network performance,



resolve complex issues and implement network security improvements.
Develop technical requirements for RFQs, assess proposed solutions and provide technical and value-for-money recommendations.
Skills & Experience
Extensive experience with Cisco, HPE Aruba, Fortinet and Palo Alto technologies.
Solid knowledge of routing, switching, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs and network security.
Experience with Microsoft Azure and AWS networking, automation, scripting and network monitoring.
Proven experience in technical documentation, network solution design and RFQ technical evaluations.
Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE or AWS Certified Advanced Networking are highly regarded.
