Asset Manager, BESS. Looking for your next challenge in Australia's growing energy storage sector? We're seeking an experienced Asset Manager to oversee a growing portfolio of utility-scale battery storage assets, driving operational performance, commercial outcomes and long-term asset value.
Key responsibilities
Oversee asset performance, reliability, availability and operational risk
Manage O&M; contractors, OEMs, service agreements and warranties
Drive OPEX control, lifecycle planning and outage management
Ensure operational, safety and regulatory compliance
Work closely with Trading, Engineering and Commercial teams
Help shape the long-term asset operations strategy as the portfolio grows
What we're looking for
Experience in asset operations or management across BESS, renewables, power generation or major electrical infrastructure
Robust commercial, contractual and contractor-management skills
Understanding of HV infrastructure, operational safety and regulatory compliance
Familiarity with the Australian NEM and energy trading interfaces
A proactive, commercially minded leader who can challenge service providers and make informed owner-side decisions
